If you could do hair in any era, what era would you pick and why?

The 90’s. But I think it’s made its way back around with all the butterfly cuts and curtain bangs.

Who are your hair inspirations and influences?

Jessie Reyez, I love everything about her. From her music, to style, and then her hair, she’s amazing.

What’s your favorite part of being a hairdresser?

The connections I make. I’ve met some of the most amazing people because of this career.

  • I came in today to get a more even base because, unfortunately during quarantine I decided to take matters into my own hands and go platinum at home; as you probably guessed, it went horrible. My appointment was with Vanessa and I couldn’t have asked for anyone better. She looked at my hair and immediately wanted to make sure before she began the best possible way to get my desired result without compromising the integrity of my hair. She constantly checked up on me and made sure I was comfortable because we were in for the long haul. Throughout the service she was giving me tips and tricks to help maintain my hair at home, which I greatly appreciated. This was my first time at this salon, and first time with Vanessa and I’m very happy with the outcome! I would highly recommend coming here, everyone was so sweet and helpful!

  • Went in to see Vanessa at this location and it was easily the best salon experience I’ve ever had. She took so much time to communicate with me and find out what I wanted, what I liked about the hairstyles I showed her – what my future hair goals were and what I didn’t love about previous color I had done with someone else. She even taught me how to style my bangs as they grow out. I have never had someone give me such personalized attention at a salon, and my hair turned out PERFECT. She nailed it, and the cut and color has grown out and faded beautifully. I can’t wait to go see her again! Highly recommend — oh and the new shop is so beautiful! Great light all through the space!
