Become a Mosaic Model

Great hair takes practice and at Mosaic, that practice works in your favor. Our Model Program pairs guests like you with stylists who are sharpening their craft under the direct supervision of our educators. You get a fresh, on-trend look at no cost. Our stylists get the hands-on hours that keep the whole Mosaic team sharp. Everybody sitting in that chair comes out ahead.

What Is the Model Program?

Throughout the year, our Ivanhoe Village and Milk District studios run hands-on training sessions — everything from precision cutting to advanced color correction. We’re always looking for guests willing to try something new and let a stylist-in-training bring a class lesson to life, with a instructor coaching (and correcting, when needed) every step of the way.

What to Expect

• Complimentary service — no charge for the appointment itself.
• Extra time in the chair — training sessions move at a learning pace, not a rush.
• Instructor supervision — a educator reviews and guides the work throughout.
• Photo & video use — we may photograph or film your transformation for training and marketing. You can ask to have your face excluded when you sign in.
• Results may vary — because a stylist-in-training is doing the work, your outcome may differ slightly from an independent stylist’s result.

Who Can Model?

• Anyone comfortable trying a new look and giving our team the time they need.
• Guests under 18 are welcome with a parent or guardian’s consent.
• Flexible daytime or weekday availability helps, since most training sessions run during regular business hours.
• Some classes call for specific hair — for example, virgin blonde hair for a color-correction class, or fine hair for a texture workshop. We’ll match you to the session that fits.
